Waking Ashland - Tortoise And The Hare

There goes my faith, swinging by the cherry tree
I rest my eyes, I need some sleep
Slow wins the race, but I'm always rushing
Trying to escape, the monster I've bceome
Somedays I try, and others just pass on by
A mountain so high, that I must climb

So please know I waited for you
And please be by my side
I'll make a move if you swear to catch me
I look to the sky

You're calm in the storm, came without warning

A face in the crowd, that knows my name
Pages and shapes, and everyone's just watching me
But I am so blind, in a field of weeds

So please know I waited for you
And please be by my side
I'll make a move if you swear to catch me
I look to the sky

When I wait, always, wait...

So please know I waited for you
And please be by my side
I'll make a move if you swear to catch me
I look to the...
So please know I waited for you
And please be by my side
I'll make a move if you swear to catch me
I look to the sky
